Design transcends being merely a tool or skill; it represents an invaluable opportunity to enhance the well-being within the realm of product interactions.

Graphicdesign was a big part of my apprenticeship in 2010. Since then I work on my skills with various software – latest: Figma

I do research on UX UI Design since 8 Years. It began with the wish to  equip product with more than nice design/ not only handy function.

Industrial Design is for me project management and concept creation. Its classical for products and rarely for experiences.

What does design mean to you?

Why Graphicdesign?

Why UX UI Design?

What is Industrial Design for you?

Among the various design approaches, I hold a particular affinity for Experience Design, with its exacting prerequisites and dedicated pursuit of meeting user needs. It stands as my preferred method for conceptualizing innovative solutions.

Following the Maslow Pyramid the logical consequence is to go on and work on well being. This includes needs: competence, relatedness, popularity, stimulation and security.

Currently UX focuses the momentarily confidence of using digital content. My opinion is: UX should include need fulfillment in order to maintain a holistic experience and to stand out of all products.

I think „relatedness“ is the most valuable need. It works nearly contrary to digital devices that’s why we should consider it most.

Why are you interested in experience Design?

Why should we care more about need fulfilment?

How does experience design influence UX?

Which need is most important ?

I am curious about your point of view
